This May, employees of Ferguson Roofing played in one of the area’s longest-running golf tournaments for charity. The Ainad Drum and Bugle Corps hosted their 28th annual golf tourney to raise funds for their many activities throughout the year and to support the philanthropy of Shriners Hospitals for Children.
Ainad Drum and Bugle Corps are active in the local community.
They perform throughout southern Illinois, traveling to play music and generate support for the Shriners international organization. The Corps performs in local parades and concerts throughout the summer. This popular group will be busy this summer with over 16 performances from May through September. The Shriners are an International Organization with a long history of helping children.
Ainad’s efforts raise awareness and funding for the Shriners Hospitals for Children and their larger mission. The Shriners have a three-prong charitable strategy. The three main objectives are: to help provide care for children, further research to develop better medical treatments, and to help educate medical professionals about new discoveries. This three-part approach helps to heal the young and old, here and now and into the future.
Why we decided to support Ainad Drum and Bugle Corps
An employee of Ferguson Roofing wanted to help Ainad continue their excellent community involvement and support for Shriners Hospitals for Children. Helping Ainad Drum and Bugle Corps was a great way to swing into the summer and improve medical care for children and people of all ages all over the world.
Playing in the Ainad Drum and Bugle Corps’ annual tournament made it easy to support our employees’ choice of charity. By supporting this group, we helped support two wonderful organizations that help people here in our area and all over the world.
