What did we do to help?

Ferguson Roofing wholeheartedly backs our law enforcement and first responder community. We provided a financial contribution and ongoing support to BackStoppers through our industry association, the Roofers and Siding Contract Alliance (RSCA), who have been long-time patrons of BackStoppers.

What do the BackStoppers do?

The BackStoppers provide a safety net to the families of police, firefighters, publicly-funded paramedics, and EMTs who’ve lost their lives in the line of duty. BackStoppers contributes ongoing needed financial assistance and support to the spouses and dependent children of these fallen public service heroes.

BackStoppers also provides assistance to first responders who have endured a debilitating injury while performing their duty. This organization’s mission is to help these families become debt-free as well as offering continued support and funding for emergencies and for children’s education.

Why did we choose to support BackStoppers?

The Ferguson community has a lot of appreciation for our public service heroes in law enforcement, firefighting, and emergency medical response. We have customers who have followed these bold and courageous callings. We have family, neighbors, and friends who risk their lives keeping us safe and protecting our community. Ferguson Roofing is honored to help take care of those who take care of all of us.

BackStoppers has an amazing track record having supported over 170 families since 1959. They currently support 80 families with 70 dependent children and contribute approximately $2 million each year.

They respond quickly, help immensely during a family tragedy, and provide ongoing support. They look after these families during the immediate aftermath and into that family’s future.

We want to support and show our appreciation to the fallen service members and their families who’ve sacrificed so much by helping so many.
