Church of God at Baden

How did we help?

When Ferguson Roofing discovered that the food pantry at the Church of God at Baden needed roof repair, we knew we could help. Ferguson donated construction services to help shelter an organization that is sheltering our community.

What does the Church of God at Baden do?

In addition to being our neighbor and part of one of the oldest communities in St. Louis, the Church of God at Baden has an amazing food pantry program. They provide food to over 300 people per month! Their food pantry distributes groceries to families in need twice per month. On the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of the month from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., families can receive some much needed food and support. In addition to the food pantry, they reach out to the community through these additional programs: Christmas Angels, clothing ministry, daycare, homeless ministry, jail ministry, Jesus in the City, Jesus Love Feast, missions and Prayer Request & Testimony. All these programs demonstrate how much this church cares and how far they are willing to reach out their helping hands. They are a small church doing big things for people in need.

Why did we support this church?

This little church has a huge heart with an expansive mission to help others in the community. This spirit is at the heart of our 80 in 80 project: local business supporting organizations that come to the aid of people in need to make our neighborhoods a healthier, happier place to live. We feel it is important to help and support the communities and the people of those communities that have supported us over the years.
