2013 Dream Factory Golf-a-Ganza

Ferguson Roofing sponsored a team for the sixth year in a row that played in the 2013 Golf-a-ganza. We celebrated several “hole-in-ones!”  See the gallery of pictures below that highlights our golf courses and a few of our staff members that participated.

The Dream Factory is a children’s wish-granting organization encourages children ages 3-18 with chronic or life-threatening illnesses and disorders to dream…and then they make that dream come true! They are the only wish granting organization for kids that also supports children who suffer from the substantial emotional and physical pain caused by chronic illness, not just those with a life-threatening diseases. They grant dreams like traveling to Disney World, getting to participate in a NASA space camp or allowing a child to meet their favorite celebrity in hopes of giving children (and their families) wonderful memories and hopefully a brief respite from the hardships they are having to face at such a young age.

For the past 6 years, Ferguson Roofing has donated money and the labor and materials necessary to build miniature golf holes for the Golf-a-Ganza tournament that supports the Dream Factory. The 2013 event spanned twenty-three restaurants and bars all over St. Charles County. Our “works of art” were displayed at All Stars Pub & Grill in St. Peters. Headed by Roger Webb and Justin Lisson, members of our Production team constructed two holes, a “Dream” factory (modeled after their logo) and a “Support the Ta-tas” Breast Cancer ribbon. The Dream factory pipe stacks were engineered to have smoke coming out of them! They stayed up all night the evening before the tournament putting on the final touches and setting up the golf holes. We are so proud of our Production team and the amount of work and love that went into these displays!
