St. Margaret of Scotland Parish School

St. Margaret of Scotland Parish School is a Catholic grade school that first opened its doors in 1918. St. Margaret teaches kids from pre-school to eighth grade. They earned the National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence Award in 2010. St. Margaret has a committed staff, award winning faculty and very active student and parental support system. They have extracurricular activities that are very focused on arts and athletics. They have dedicated art faculty and parental volunteers that teach everything from dance and acting to art history and painting. In addition to excellent classroom curriculum, students have the opportunity to participate in “outside” classroom activities at a community garden run by volunteers and the Parish.

In addition to the trivia nights, walk-a-thons and kilt dance parties, bi-annually St. Margaret of Scotland Parish School hosts a dinner auction to help support the school and it’s diverse student body (34% of the students are non-Catholic and 30% are minorities). Ferguson Roofing was a proud sponsor of their 2013 “A Taste of the City” event. This included a dinner and auction at the Casa Loma Ballroom on April 13, 2013. We feel very strongly about giving back to our community and were glad to make a donation that benefited students in the St. Louis area!
