Red Cross Blood Drive

The Red Cross states that every two seconds, someone in the United States needs blood and that less than 10% of the population actually donates. Blood donations are an integral tool of First Responders. As everyone knows, it is easier to perform your job when you have the proper resources available. Blood donations are essential to letting First Responders do what they do best…save lives. As part of our philanthropic mission to help support First Responders, the Ferguson Roofing staff is pleased to be participating in a blood drive today, January 14th, 2014. The owners of Ferguson have graciously agreed to give any staff member that wishes to donate paid time off to do so.

The St. Louis County & Municipal Police Academy will be hosting the blood drive. Their facility is located at 1266 Sutter Avenue, Wellston, MO 63133. The blood drive runs from 10 am to 1 pm. The Ferguson Staff will be out in force around 11:30 am, but some have plans to donate in the afternoon. Come join us and help support a worthy cause.

While we are participating in this drive to support First Responders, we also recognize that blood donations save lives. We all know someone or know someone that knows someone that has needed blood. On a personal note, a member of our Ferguson family was one of those people and we appreciate those that donated the blood that helped save his live. Please help us pay it forward!
